Calling all local and distant artists, poets, storytellers, writers, photographers, videographers, philosophers, gardeners, collaborators, educators, pastors, civic leaders, librarians, landlords, laborers, businesses, landowners, donors, entrepreneurs, not-for-profits, professionals, visionaries, and neighbors.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
1) Pray: Prayer changes us through the Spirit’s leading voice
2) Give: We need urgent funding to sustain our vision (see funding goals)
3) Spread the word: We need new partners, especially Atlanta-based donors. Nate is available to meet one-on-one or speak in a group context.
4) Administrative Assistant: Due to Nate’s dual ministry role with Sub-Urban and FCS Urban Ministries, we need an administrative partner (see funding goals)
5) Event Planner: We need a volunteer event-planner to host a creative fundraiser for Sub-Urban (before Christmas 09′)
6) Designer/Donor: We need a volunteer designer to create and donate additional t-shirts for Metro Merge. In addition, we need a volunteer to design a hand-out for Sub-Urban.
ADDITIONAL GOALS
1) Provide a future part-time summer internship for a local neighborhood teen (job creation and hands-on training with other leaders)
2) Establish a Metro Merge Leadership Team, developing our shared urban office into a launching pad for restorative ventures in our neighborhood
3) Repair our office roof top and extend Metro Merge into a shared roof top experience (outside) with a skyline view of the city (creating a positive gathering space for relationships, leadership development, and celebration)
